I recently stayed at the Monte Carlo, where I have stayed many times in the past. The gift shop no longer sells newspapers. I do realize that many people read newspapers online. I sometimes do that myself, but I enjoy reading a print newspaper with my morning coffee. I had to go to the Aria to buy a paper; at least one can walk to Aria entirely indoors, which was a blessing in the late June heat outside.

I have previously posted that the MC has removed coffeemakers from guest rooms, and they provide only one chair. But at least they did bring in another chair when I requested it.
