I have been choosing Spring Hill for 2 reasons. First and foremost are the bonus points as previously metioned. I don't usually have long stays and use Marriotts for the points.
Second and almost as important is Spring Hill's are usually newer hotels. I've stayed at some of the older RI's and they are very load. I've had a few stays on lower floors which I could not sleep with people walking above me with the floor creaking and plumbing noises such as draining water every time a toilet flushes or sink turns on. This happened more than once.
