does anyone have any recent experience with attempting to through check on AA? i have two separate PNRS for DTW-ORD on AA and ORD-TXL on AB for an upcoming trip (i didn't realize until checking this thread that they stopped honoring through check on separate oneworld PNRs). Do the check-in agents have any flexibility here? I have a 3 hour connection which is doable but would be tight if I have to leave secure area, recheck bag, etc. If anyone has feedback it would be appreciated! I am considering leaving a fair amount of stuff behind and taking just a carry on which I would hope I don't have to do ...
