I am the primary cardholder and my husband does not have the card.

Can I do this? Or does the paid fare have to be for MY ticket? I realize I could transfer the miles to my husband's account, but since he does not have the cc, it would cost lots of $$$.

Thanks in advance for any insight and suggestions!
I don't know the answer to that offhand, but it's certainly possible to buy your husband's ticket with your miles and yours and son's with cash and companion fare, so one way or another you can do what you seem to be trying to do.
