Had the exact same experience -

Adding a strange DP here – Just applied for the Alaska Business Card, and got a pending status.

I called the reconsideration line, and they said the rep said the bank needs to verify ownership and requires the articles of incorporation, and two years of tax history (biz+personal), as in tax returns for the company.

He said that people are randomly selected for this process.

Has anyone else had such an invasive request by Bank of America? It reminds me of the AMEX financial review but only before you get the card.

What would anyone recommend at this stage? Best to reapply with different info or lay low for a bit?
