I did BMW European delivery in 2014 and did a 2 week, 1500+ mile European road trip. It was one of the best experiences of my life. As far as the fast driving goes though, we only went up to about 120mph tops. There weren't that many wide open sections of the Autobahn and the ones that would have been seemed to all be under construction. There were brief moments of speed-limit-free areas that were also construction free (primarily on the long road FRA-MUC). Far more amazing was getting to drive our car through the Alps, around Lake Como, and along the Black Forest highway (Schwarzwaldhochstrasse)!
