I'm only 6", but I have long legs. The cost of extra legroom or an exit row has just become an expense that I consider as part of the ticket. I simply don't fit into normal economy seats without having my knees touching the seat in front.

I was sat next to a guy on a flight back to Manchester from Chicago last year who must've been at least 6"7; this was in MCE and he still didn't have enough room. The FA took pity on him and moved him to an empty bulkhead seat.
