I will simply not book the United Airbus on a flight over about an hour, If that is the A/C, United is off my purchasing radar.
My mistake, I forgot to mention which manufacturer and model.

All Boeing Aircraft have been undergoing seat modifications. It now appears as though many Airbus are as well... But in my original post I was referring to Boeing.
