Oh, and the fixed 15" touch-screens and loads of storage.
I was very happy, because up until I stepped aboard both AA.com and Seat Finder by Expert Flyer showed it as the odd forward AND backward facing seating.
The crew was beyond expectation and the food was good for what it was.
First AA flight for about 4 years as they are no longer my home-town airline. Chatted with several of the crews and 2 of them volunteered that they had noted a marked decline in FA attitude and level of service since the US merger, partially for animosity between the two groups of crew, and partially because of some services that the airline chose to do away with on AA's side to mainline the service to one level. I do not have more detail in what service(s) was(were) done away with as the conversation was interrupted.
The only complaints I have on this trip actually relate to each of the airports (LHR T3 - design/connection layout (still), DFW - Immigration process, even with Global Entry) so not related to the 777-200ER.
