Without knowing what Maui experience you want, it's hard to say.

The CY and Marriott are in very different parts of Maui, so it's hard to compare them. The Wailea Marriott is in a relatively quiet part of island full of resorts and easy access to beaches and plentiful ocean views. The CY is in a commercial part of town with lots of retail, but you can certainly drive to Kaanapali, Lahaina, and other parts of western Maui from there.
