Totally understand.
My score rate as a crowdfunder has been about 80% to completion, 50% on original projected schedule. But definitely better for hardware than pure software for sure.
Having had (and continuing to have) professional gigs on both sides of the H/W S/W equation, it surprises me that the software projects have had bigger issues, but maybe it's the relative experience of the coders involved.
