By the way, just now I got a reply from my Zone 1 hotel. In addition to prices they quote for their staff picking me up ($40 each way airport to hotel; not interested in that) they claim that the regular taxi from the airport would be $38USD (they gave a USD price for some reason - and it's about three times what I think it should be) and the return to the airport 100 pesos (which sounds about right).
