I am in town as well and walked by the Pendry last night and that soft opening looked like they were in business full swing. At least from outside. An absolute huge +100 on Pitango. I'm there twice a day when visiting and don't know of a better gelato place on the east coast. Insomnia Cookies if not mistaken, is a chain.
