Canada may consider electronics ban

I note the thread below was closed but with Canada considering following suit and the UK including their air carriers in the ban (unlike the US), it means AC could be affected. Not to mention the number of TK flyers on this board.

So take this as a heads up and be prepared to check your bag (or take a ship home.) After one of the travel bans on carry-on I made my husband start carrying a folding duffel to put his computer case into since it was a Kensington backpack that didn't close tight. At least he had with him a container to put it in with a TSA lock in case the rules changed while he was on a trip. He never had to check his computer bag but he did have to use it to contain his bag when he had to leave it at checked baggage in Union Station during a trip to the US Consulate for a visa interview.
