There is not a lot of difference in the prices but choice changes, sometimes Singapore is better, sometimes KL is...neither are as good as Dubai but that is just a little bit too far to travel every 3 months.
It's impressive that the Singapore Shangri-La Valley Wing sways the city you choose for shopping!
In KL, have you tried the Ritz-Carlton? The service is not that special anymore (generic Asian deferential service but not particularly polished) compared to when it first opened in 2002 or so (it was spectacular then) but the hard product is great (recently refurbished) and overall it offers one of the best values for luxury hotels in the world. The 45sqm Executive Deluxe Rooms are particularly lovely, for USD 200. The 200sqm Three Bedroom Suites are a steal at USD 350 or thereabouts, though the bathrooms were not refurbished.
