I love green choice. I get the points. I don’t need my room made up anyway on solo business trips. Win win but maybe not so much for the housekeepers that actually need the work? Not sure.

Anyway, how about points for cord cutters? I get it that housekeeping is a big chuck of the operating cost and the savings is real for the property. But they pay for the phone and cable too, don’t they? It’s likely one fixed cost. So a few rooms opting out here and there may not make any difference. But really, I don’t need the phone. I don’t need the TV. Is there any creative way to ‘reward’ people like me and realize savings for the hotel at the same time?
