GG makes a really good point in the next post about the shuttle and how it stops at the Hyatt before going to SFO. Coming from SFO, the Marriott is the first stop. I've stayed here and worked out of downtown SFO a couple of times, using the shuttle to and from the SFO BART station and it's pretty easy.
Also, if you are a football fan, I believe the 49ers use this hotel as their HQ. The night before a home game, you may see quite a few players arriving and they have a team breakfast downstairs in the morning.
