Last month after I went far overseas (Middle East + Africa) for 3 weeks, Barclays website started doing either that or else demanding third-party verification (email or phone) every time I logged in. It kept that up for one or two logins after I returned to not only the USA but my home area (SoCal), but now seems to have stopped (now that I'm always accessing it in my home area).
So are you getting this while at home, or just while traveling (and how far away)?
Btw, I prefer the two security questions to the pesky two-step verification. But it didn't give ma a choice, on some logins I only got security questions while on other logins it immediately demanded to send me a verification code.
(I don't use the Barclay app, just the website.)
