Standard redemption as platinum member, was thanked for being a member but not offered anything in terms of welcome amenity. I was given a "room with a view" which I guess might have been an upgrade (although the word upgrade wasn't used) as it was on the 7th floor (facing the Royal Mail facility and the City). No club lounge access. Infact, every time I walked through the lobby, the club lounge didn't even have any lights on. Maybe it was just that no one was in there and the lights auto-turn off (or no one had booked a club room) but it seemed somewhat unwelcoming.. Breakfast in restaurant was offered at £17.50 per person!
