Just flew MU208 and no smoking. In fact I've been on plenty of other MU ULH flights and haven't experienced smoking in at least over a year.

Their meals have also gotten better in the last year. Plus the experience at PVG T1 has improved with recent construction and new lounge opening. Bags can now transfer between MU/FM and DL/AF/KLM (and vv) so no need to pickup up bags when transiting at PVG. (Including for transfer to domestic MU/FM flights). Also the transfer process when connecting between MU/FM international and onward to DL/AF/KLM or when connecting to international MU/FM T1 is tons better then at T2. No needing to clear immigration.
