Of course all reviews are subjective.
As Arlflyer states if you feel a hotel values you and goes above and beyond the minimum benefits more than likely you will leave with good things to say and likely to return again and recommend.
We enjoy a quality and leisurly breakfast which was extended free at Waldorf Rome and Waldorf Dubai, we also were well looked after with early check in and a very late checkout due to late evening flights which meant a lot to us.
At Waldorf Amsterdam I was quoted something ridiculous for breakfast like €78 for two per night.
If they had extended breakfast and pre confirmed an early check in and late check out I would of almost certainly have booked at €500 a night but by rejecting minimal request that to me was not offering me value.
It may not be part of Hiltons terms to extend free breakfast at Waldorf but there is no way I stay loyal to Hilton and never look at another chain to be expected to then pay €78 for breakfast that is just not going to happen.
I am not saying don't go to Waldorf Amsterdam I am just saying don't expect much more than a basic room.
