Booked a room last night on points plus cash. No change to the cash price today.

6 weeks ago the standard rate was 16,000 points + £48 this then increased around the time of the announcements to a higher cash cost.

Cost was 16,000 + £55.20

Today they want 16,000 + £109.92

This is a massive change.

Sure, I can find similar cash plus points but this is only on much cheaper room rates where I would probably not use points.

Very disappointed with Hilton changes.
