That said, couldn't I just "forget" my PP card on my annual family trip to Seattle and buy 4 day passes for the AS BR, thus buying 20,000 UR for $200, which seems like a cheap and painless way to get some UR?
Several data points indicate that while Chase will reimburse you for the lounge entry fee, that reimbursement is counted against your $300 annual travel credit. If that's how you want to spend your annual travel credit - by "forgetting" your PP card - then have at it. I'd prefer to use the PP card - for free - and utilize the annual travel credit against my actual spend. (Those data points are from other threads on FT and on Reddit.)
Edit to add: How is $200 spend equal to 20,000 UR points? Travel spend on CSR is 3 points per dollar, no? What am I not understanding in that mathematic calculation?
