GPU cleared, no email
Here's a weird thing. I am flying TLV-EWR in a couple of days and was checking flight status, and happened to notice that the seat I had booked - 16A - was showing as empty on the seat map. So I go into my reservation on the app, and it says that my upgrade has cleared. But I did not receive an email from United.
I was then able to go and select a BF seat and then phoned United to have the ticket re-issued as usual.
Very happy that my GPU cleared of course! - but very odd that I got booted out of my seat without being given another one and without receiving an email...
Has this happened to anyone else?
