...On a somewhat more serious note, I've seen people seating on the floor of the customs area to eat delicacies bought abroad that were denied entrance to the country, rather than hand them to be destroyed by the sanitary agents.

My mother in law was recently "attacked" by a customs beagle for bringing fruit back from Cabo. She got away with the "Im old and didn't understand" excuse. I was rooting for a fine.
