Good afternoon,

I am curious to see if there is any way of finding out what version of the 777-200 American Airlines is operating on flight 170 from NRT (Tokyo) to LAX? I am looking at booking business class but there is also a seat available (one day later) on JAL with a destination of San Diego (SAN).

I would much rather end up in LA than SD, but I think the business class on JAL 787 would be far superior to that on AA 777. Any input would be appreciated.
