My employer uses a corporate travel agency who have their own website for booking, part of it allows you to enter your frequent traveller account details.
If you don't do this the bookings don't pick up your details and you have to get them added at the hotel.
If you set these up the reservations are picked up by the relevant hotel loyalty schemes in advance.
Might be worth checking with the corporate travel agency whether they can do this?
that's not the issue: my frequent traveller is registered with my travel agency, they transmit it to the hotel with every booking, I always check at check in if they have my frequent traveller number, it used to work well but now, even though they have all the data they need and even though I want to reclaim points through their form for missing points, Melia won't give me points because my "booking is done through a travel agency"...
I sent a question to customer service asking for clarifications, let's see what happens...
