Thanks for the advice remdk. I called them last week to see if can simply change routing. The problem is that I had to book two separate reservations. I have 2 people going BOS-DOH-DXB all in J and F. The other 2 people are going BOS-DOH-DXB with the second leg in Y due to only 2 seats being offered for F. I was trying to do the same itinerary but from ORD. There were 4 seats available for ORD-DOH in J. But they can't break up married segments so they said they could only move 2 of us to ORD-DOH-DXB but not the other 2 since they were marred segments in J and Y and only 2 seats are available DOH-DXB in F. But online it is possible to book married segments in J and Y. Interesting how they can't book it over the phone. So basically I don't want to risk only getting 2 of us on ORD-DOH-DXB and then have the other 2 seats disappear while I am waiting for the Qmiles to show back up in my account after canceling the 2nd itinerary.
