Applied for Business and personal card same day. Received the business card about 1 week later even though I got a pending notice. 30K bonus after $1K spend and I think a statement credit.

Personal card showed pending on sending application. When I received the business one I decided to call and they stated I was approved, but only for $1000 credit limit which is ridiculous, same issue as a year ago when I tried. I don't understand why you can't specify the card you want and take that or nothing. It's also ridiculous with my very high income, FICO over 800, that this is even happening. Yes, lots of cards and CL accumulatively is very high but don't carry balances and don't have any other B of A cards currently.

I assume this is a card with no AF but I want the Signature Visa version, the 30K bonus miles, etc. Not a great card to spend on but that certainly could be my point to them, that I want to spend on the card but can't with the low CL.

Any strategy that would work in this case? I feel like a college student getting my first CC at that CL.....
