A few tips after 10 days in Bali this month.

Don't pay the Benoa toll. It's always added to your bill, no matter what the driver tells you. Same for the airport parking fee. These are not big amounts, but annoying.

Some hotels will not let Uber drivers onto their properties. Most Uber drivers are smart enough to just say they're your driver. Not all of them, unfortunately.

Grab sometimes works, but we waited at the Bali Hilton Resort for 15 minutes past pickup time, and the map just showed him getting further away. Just cancel if it's not coming on time.

On our trip to the airport, we get a new driver, with his trunk full of big boombox type speakers. Had to shoehorn the luggage into the second row of seats.
