Since it's now served by a 777 and frequented by revenue C passengers, UA800/801 SIN-NRT-SIN is likely to be one of the most difficult Y to C upgrades to score in the system. Can any 1Ks and 1Ps share results of recent efforts to upgrade on this flight--particularly on weekend flights?

I'm taking SIN-NRT on a Friday in a month, and less than 10 revenue seats appear available.
