Thanks to you, jerry305, for the heads up about that. I answered the quiz a second time, after I found the same offer buried in my Fall Newsletter, and the 1000 points posted with yesterday's date of Jan 13, 2017.

I had also answered it for 6 other Aeroplan accounts that I am custodian to. None of them were targeted with the same email, so none of them got the 1000 points.

Except one, which had 1000 miles posted on Oct 31st with activity description of "EARNING PROMO MILES". Not sure what that was for. The account has been nearly dormant for 3 years, and the only way I keep activity on it is with Esso fillups or answering surveys.
