As for Mendoza, I ended booking the Sheraton in the city since my flight is later than I originally had planned.
Gives me a chance to explore a little before flying off SCL later in the evening.
Bus from Mendoza to BA is doable. Just make sure you book the "Suite Class" which means lie-flat seat and dinner. Andesmar is the biggest player on the Mendoza-BA coach market, you can book online with them. They are currently building a highway on route 7 from Luján to Junín (200km approx) so that slows down traffic a bit, but nothing to worry about.
