Well, its 160,000 UA miles, which can be purchased for $3040USD directly from United without limits. I m sure these brokerage sites get it for less from shady sellers.

That would mean even if they legally bought the miles from UA (to which there is no limit to) - they are still turning a $1500+ profit.


China Southern is a perfectly acceptable way to travel and the price is right.
You can accumulate Delta miles. The trip would earn you 25,000 miles, enough for a domestic roundtrip.
