Those site are usually selling award seats. That is not in accordance with ffp t&c's. People can be stranded mid trip.

For travel for a company work purpose you should not want to get involved in shady transactions or take that person risk. The company needs to get you to Melbourne, and will not be concerned with your frequent flyer program objectives.
