"Upgrade" comment is a little confusing; assume you're referring tp upgrade priority. Actual upgrade occurs at defined window. Of course, you're a day earlier than Plat.
I was saying that being platinum does not get me upgraded that often anymore, I usually fall 4 or lower on the list, and seats just aren't available.
And as for buying upgrades, I was referring to the 500 mile upgrades, which are now harder to earn because of the earned mileage change based on fare, and still cost $40 per piece.
