The Pier is a long walk from the BA gate (I believe that flight 32 is the 380), so that might be a reason to go for a different lounge as does the existence of a family zone in QF. However if you don't mind a walk then The Pier is the best lounge IMO, arguably the best of any airport in the world.
We had our first visit to The Pier last week and I was very impressed.
We were on the 32 and it is a decent walk from the gate, although we used the train to get there and just walked back. Unfortunately we did not have much time in there, but it was worth the trek.
