The hotel itself I doubt has changed radically in the last three years, and it seemed very conventional then. Three years ago when I stayed there it was Cat 5, and I used two certs (in addition to points for additional nights). The demand was high so they raised the category each year after that.
What I meant is that inside the hotel it's a conventional Courtyard once you're there. Yes, it may unconventionally priced on points now, but that doesn't affect the breakfast!
There are Courtyards with restaurants instead of bistros (for example,
Aquadilla, Puerto Rico, which may give free breakfast of some sort to Plats, and that's what I would call "non-conventional" Courtyards.
