Is it common for an airport hotel to require a 3 night minimum?

Trying to book a night before a trip at the Oakland airport Marriott and they have a 3 night minimum?

Seems odd for a hotel at an airport to me. I could see at a hotel in a large city you might encounter this but having stayed at the Hilton at Oakland many time for a single night this took me by surprise,

Is this a situation that others have come across?
