Also keep in mind bids are processed around T-3 days, while the SE window is 14 or 7.
That being said, my travel companion sat in Y because of some form of paid upgrades (LMU or bid, not certain).
And I'll have a ton of expiring upgrades because of things like this.
It means if R=0 at the window, your probability of getting that upgrade at the gate is lower now than before.
