I've just checked with QF. There's no problem going through Asia on the way from South West Pacific to North America AND then through Asia again on the way home from Europe.

The only limitation is that one of those vists to Asia MUST be a transfer. That is - you must fly in and out within 24 hours. If you break your journey and are in Asia for MORE than 24 hours, then that counts as a continental stop.
