Its inevitable that there will be integration of the SPG and Marriott forums. I hope some discussion of that is allowed here?

Not only do the two hotel programs vary in terms of customer base, sophistication and culture, the FT forums for each have a different tone, different norms in terms of thread structure, use of stickies and wikkies and very different approaches and participation by moderators.

Instead of just clicking a few buttons to merge the two forums, is there any discussion of how to approach this?

Perhaps some cross-linking/posting between the two could be allowed as a test?
