I flew quite a few times in F trans-continental as well but still find it tiring and jetlag. Maybe because I am of a different age group than him being much older. Still can't imagine doing so when I was in my 20s. But then, I don't really like flying.

Let's face it, no matter how nice a flat bed seat in First Class, it's still not comparable to the comfort of a proper bed on the ground, and same goes for airline food. Hotels are nice and I love luxury hotels myself but will definitely not want to stay 365days a year. A hotel room no matter how nice is still just a hotel room and not home.

Wifi on planes will be a reality soon on most flights and is a big plus to kill time on boring long flights. Just wished the airlines will insist to ban VOIP or Video calls.
