What I'm seeing is not even a question of if we have enough miles -- it's availability at ALL.
You don't say where you are starting from but it tends to be the case that quite a few people in places where it is cold in January try to go to places where it is warm and award flights are snapped up a year ahead. People might be able to help better if you reveal at least your country of origin.
