Not to derail the thread, but Marriott is not exactly known for culinary (or cocktail) excellence.
Actually some Marriott properties are, including winning awards.
If you're talking a suburban Marriott in fly-over country, probably not. But I doubt many suburban SPG properties in fly-over country do either.
There have been a # of properties specializing in cocktails or certain culinary experiences (and I'm not just talking Ritz) & even large parties w/ kick-offs surrounding them.
