I just signed up for the Delta Amex Reserve card, and was instantly approved. I logged into my Amex account to check out the card, and found that they linked it to a new Skymiles account number rather than my existing Skymiles account. I called customer service and they didn't have a solution. Has anyone encountered this issue? Any quick fixes?
Without the card I will end the year with around 122,000 miles, so hoping to get this resolved in time to make Diamond by year end.

This happened to me. I simply called the number on my card and had no problem having my old Skymiles number put on the Reserve card. I got a new card within the week.
