Here's the terminal map
I walk from the inter-island terminal, which is further away from the mainland and international terminal (D - H on the map). Takes me about 10-15 minutes. However, I haven't done it with a bunch of luggage or pushing a wheelchair.
I tried walking as everyone suggested, but after 5 minutes I hit a dead end. I have no idea how this happened - I just walked in the direction the information desk told me to go. Anyways, I just walked outside and caught the shuttle.
If you're flying into the inter-island terminal, just go outside and catch the shuttle. If you're flying from the mainland then walking is easier.
