Smuggness is so appealing. If it says NZ on the tin then people should be able to buy with confidence that it is NZ (or equivalent) in the tin.
I admit to having been caught out with the NZ/EY deal. No status points and no lounge access in AUH, no through-boarding pass. Will I use it again - no - do I feel conned - yes.
I use NZ over 150 times a year but will only fly NZ metal. I simply can't be bothered to work out their smart alec 'gotcha'-conditions.
