2. What will you do once you earn whatever EQDs you need to get whatever status you need or want?
3. There are always options, but if you ask most anyone on FT, you might get at least 3 different ones, all requiring a different approach to achieving them.

I love this time of year...clocks change (not always for the better), there's always an election somewhere (not always for the better ) and everyone on almost every airline forum is looking for a strategy for the upcoming year.

if you have multiple ways to get what you want within the budget you have, then you have a little more flexibility than those who say are hub captives or are airline captives due to corporate contracts or are 5 miles short of MM or whatever.

Wishing you much luck in getting where you want. Seriously.
1. Thanks!
2. Fly free MCE and check a free bag. And do a status dance. And look down at the commoners when I board early. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
3. That's why I love forums. Hearing all the different opinions and learning new things. Like I just learned tonight that EQDs doesn't mean mileage runs are over. You can try to maximize miles on partners to earn EQDs. For example, I could buy a RT JFK-AMM-BKK for $1700 on RJ, and earn $2000 EQDs for it. Win! LOL

Oh, I guess I didn't introduce myself:

"Hi, I'm Richard. I'm new here and I like trying to get status. But I can stop anytime I want. I don't have a problem like some people. I could stop if I wanted to. I'm just here to check things out, but I don't really need to be here."
