Agree. I know this current program works for some but it does come down to an individual decision on what is best for each individual.
Starting on my second career too late in life I have already accepted that I'll never make LF Diamond with Hilton. If they opened up other tiers like Marriott does with the LF Silver, Gold, and Plat I would probably stay exclusive with them. As it is now, I split between going for Hilton Diamond and Marriott Gold. Starting next year I'll probably go for Marriott Plat and Hilton Gold.
